hi i'm jim Himes and
and I wanted to publish my ebook I had a book that I wrote and I headed on the
web for about a year and then I decided that I wanted to transfer that print and bind your own paperback !!! into a book and i won by Booker turnout
pretty much like this notice it's a looks like a paperback it's
the size I've a normal book on a bookshelf
how I did that was I took my eBook which was
format it for eight and a half by eleven paper and print it out
using special manner that I have
which Prince the front and back confront and back
postcard printing service but it does so in a way that's a little bit different and you may have
most most to these things when they wanna ProBook will have you printed out
and then they'll have you folded like this and then you
binded along here and cut the edge
and folding
I stacked this big just wasn't a good idea so I
designed this way if creating a book so that you
can seal it on the edges and then cut it in the middle
it'll and what it does is you get
two books one from this side and one from that side
to
pages to go into the thermocline machine
very simple is you
stack up very carefully
and clamp it on one side
making sure it's completely even
and apply a little hot melt glue
to that edge just to kind us
glue it for just a few moments let that
blue cool and then you do it on
the other edges
to do the binding is here's a cover
its glossy on one side it's printed on
by
paper which is easily
acceptable to your home printer and you just
allow enough in the middle to hold all the sheets if your book
and use court with a
own folder meter this against
just scored with a straight edge
and a bone folder right along their
right along their so you have store marks that will guide you as you
crate this
take your hot melt glue gun and lay a thin bead
all through the with
and high %uh the back
like this
have to pretty complete coverage smeared around pretty good but don't put huge
amounts on their
you want to go up
into the pages rather than along the side
binding for
sides and you do the same thing with another
and you get
like this you have to be very careful to make sure that the
front goes with the front up
put it through the
sheen it's pretty hot in there
so what I like to do is I protect the edge in the book
the spine with a piece of paper drop it down
in the heating element press it
and wait
seconds
you happened very gently make sure that the pages seal
and seat properly and then you can go ahead and
do the next side
that is one side up
and the other side up
then all you need to do is take it over to your
local print shop and ask them if they have
a large paper tremor
nay almost always do the user
very heavy duty devices that cut many many sheets at a time
and you can actually stack up maybe ten these
at one time and they can cut wants
twice right exactly in the middle and a third tram
on the bottom just to make everything look pretty and nice and what you have
after you're done is you have a paperback book that looks exactly like
that *** ***
